Learn About The Common Questions

How Long Are Sessions?

A standard session is fifty minutes long, however, depending on your insurance it can run longer. If sessions are needing to be extended, it will need to be addressed prior to scheduling the session.

How Often Will We Meet?

After your first session, we will discuss how often you will need to attend sessions. Many clients either come once a week, bi-weekly or an as-needed basis.

Is Therapy For Me?

Counseling and therapy sessions are a way and process where individuals, families, and couples learn more about themselves and others. Through therapy, it can reveal what changes need to be made in an individual life , if any.

Do You Accept Insurance?

We accept most insurance plans, however, depending on what your specific insurance coverage policy is can determine your specific session. Our office will verify the benefits your insurance policy provides and inform you of plans and deductibles, co-pays and expenses.

Is Therapy Confidential?

Counseling and therapy sessions are confidential unless legal issues are brought up e.g., child abuse or elder abuse that we are legally mandated to report. In most cases, the therapy session is between the client and the therapist. Our counselors are not allowed to speak to anyone about the treatments and sessions that are taken place, or even verify that an individual is a patient.
